My students ask for snacks daily. Why? Many students do not have the means to pack a snack, did not eat breakfast, or would be in aftercare programs up until dinner. Students came in hungry and many knew they would be hungry when they left. "Feed My Friends This School Year" allows me to provide snacks to students no matter the circumstance with no questions asked.
When students are in my room I want them to feel safe, valued, and loved. By helping provide snacks for my class you help students meet their basic needs so they can focus on learning and having fun! Students can ask for a snack for school or to take home. They know they are taken care of with no questions asked.
