Many of my students do not have good internet connections at home and so struggle to do online work. They often give up in their courses as they can’t access materials. Having access to a printer will allow them to print out materials to read and manipulate in a more manageable way, which will allow them to complete work in a timely fashion and not get behind. This will help not only their grades, but their emotional well-beings as they will not be as overwhelmed feeling like they are bound to fail.
