The COVID-19 Pandemic has been difficult for all of us to endure.
Young learners have missed out on the opportunity to work with peers during the COVID-19 Pandemic. My hope with these resources is to provide the opportunity for my students to work cooperatively while learning important Kindergarten skills. The books will provide practice in asking and answering questions about things that happen in a story. Alphabet manipulatives will be used to help kids understand that the words we speak are written by putting letters together in a certain order. They will also be used to give students practice making the sounds that go with letters. Math materials will be used to help students count objects using the correct number names.
Nevada Academic Content Standards include RL.K1, RF.K1b, RF.K.3a, and K.CC.4a. Thank you for your time and consideration in reviewing the proposal I have put together for these very special students! With your help, I will be able to bridge the learning gap these students have endured.
