Reading chapter books aloud is something that is very important to me and my students. All of my kids love it because it's rare for someone to take the time to read with them. They love listening and reading along and making it fun helps them to stay interested! By donating to my project, my students will get to celebrate finishing our book with a "Because of Winn Dixie" party, complete with food, drinks, and their very own puppy adoption. They can then snuggle up with their pet, enjoy their food watch the movie. Making reading FUN makes students interested and they LEARN!
