My students have a lack of interpersonal and social skills due to the pandemic. I am attempting to pair these with our deficits in literacy and language. Literacy center time in my classroom is engaging and fun. These materials allow me the opportunity to make learning fun while also having meaningful and engaging interactions with my students and encouraging the interactions they have with each other! Having relevant and fun teaching resources incentivizes learning for my students. They are working towards something fun and (little do they know) educational! I want to provide opportunities for them to actively engage in their own learning and love coming to school each and every day. Who said school had to be boring!
