Our library at Houston County Middle School is more than just a place for books; it’s a dynamic learning hub where students explore, create, and grow. As the librarian, I also teach three Response to Intervention (RTI) classes and three Related Arts classes daily. In RTI, I focus on building literacy and fostering a love for reading, while Related Arts allows students to engage in creative, interdisciplinary activities.
The library is a welcoming space for all students to discover new books, collaborate on projects, or find a quiet spot to read. Whether through book studies, innovative projects, or community initiatives, this space inspires curiosity, creativity, and connection. It’s a cornerstone of our school’s commitment to literacy and lifelong learning.
