High-interest YA books will enable students to read about topics that they may be able to relate to, socially and emotionally. The topic of these books covers a wide demographic of our student body. We encourage students to choose books that will both challenge and engage in a variety of topics.
The makers' space materials will enable students to develop their creative side. For example, creating iron-on decals for class t-shirts to stickers for school events.
During COVID 19 kids were staring at a screen all day. We hope to open their creative mind with these art materials.
