These basketballs and carts will benefit the whole school. They will be used for lunchtime play so students can stay active. The BHMS basketball team will use them for training and practice. Every year we have a school basketball tournament where all the school gets together to watch or play in the tournament. The game of basketball truly brings our BHMS family together. At any given time students at all skill levels can be seen playing basketball at school. Sadly, there is not always enough equipment to go around. Having them in-school tournament brings the school together as staff and students are excited when it is tournament time at Bret Harte. Teams can include all staff, all students, or a team with students and staff together. The basketball team does not have a gym to practice in so good quality basketball is important for them.
