Learning occurs in every facet of a persons life! Our students yearn for an opportunity to take their comprehension of wave technology and apply it to the real world. MUSIC is one way that we can showcase mechanical waves throughout our lives. Building a PVC pipe instrument will allow our students to flex their engineering muscles and showcase their musical abilities. We spent a year learning remotely, and it is clear that our students need avenues to apply their learning in a physical manner. This musical instrument will practically apply the concept of matter moving through a medium in a time where students really need to SEE their learning. Our students need an opportunity to step away from their computers and re-build their relationship with hands-on learning experiences. This project is a perfect opportunity for all learners to stretch their learning and create something new.
