The Oculus will give my students the groundbreaking ability to visit historical sites that they would normally never get the chance to. For example, students will be able to tour the Anne Frank House even though it is 4,800 miles away from our school. They will be able to walk the hallways, as well as climb the stairs inside the building as if they are actually there! The Oculus also offers the ability to be inside the North Tower on 9/11 in an effort to teach empathy with the victims of the infamous event. It truly will bring learning history to life for my students!
