Since returning to the building I am trying to engage my students as much as possible. This project will enhance my students’ educational experience because it gives them access to math materials needed for class. My students will benefit directly as a result of being able to reach the standards of mathematical practice of attending to precision and using tools appropriately. As a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, my students need access to water since water fountains are not the cleanest. This project will help them in this area.
Also, the materials I am requesting, helps to nourish the mind and body, will nurture my students’ interest in learning math. My hope is that the materials will make a qualitative difference in the instruction and culture in my classroom and create a group of lifelong learners.
