Adapted physical education can be tricky because it's most definitely not one size fits all. On any given day, my students need different equipment that helps to adjust or adapt the game or activity being presented. Other times, we need simple games with simple goals and rules, or games that incorporate skills I know my students need to work on.
One of the NV state standards that can be more difficult to achieve due to limited dexterity or experience is "1.12.2 Perform manipulative skills in combination with locomotor and/or non-locomotor movements in a variety of environments and under a host of conditions." This equipment can help my students practice these types of skills.
