My Multilingual Learner (MLL) students are a diverse and vibrant group, each bringing their own unique experiences, languages, and cultures into the classroom. Many of them are new to the United States, navigating the challenges of learning English while adjusting to a new country and school system. Despite these challenges, they are incredibly resilient, eager to learn, and deeply motivated to succeed. They come from a variety of linguistic backgrounds, speaking languages such as Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin, Uzbek, and Bengali among others. This diversity makes our classroom a rich, multicultural environment.
