All of my students will benefit with a curated selection of culturally relevant books designed to connect them through powerful and affirming images and relatable content. The books I have selected will help students see themselves in career opportunities related to STEAM, and enhance their joy of tinkering and thinking outside of the box. The hands-on materials will help them explore new and innovative ways of using engineering as a means to solving problems. Through a variety of engaging materials students will see look at the world through a new STEAM-ifed lens.
