I am working on having an iPad in each of the 7 classrooms I work with as a Speech-Language Pathologist. I have purchased one iPad, had another donated, and this a ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½.org iPad will get me almost halfway there.
I have purchased communication apps such as TouchChat and ProloquoToGo and have witnessed these students who seemingly can't follow a direction or tell what they want, use these apps to request items from teachers, something that is easily taken for granted with speaking students. This iPad will help my non-speaking students express their wants and needs.
