I have multi level students: 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders. We all missed in person classes due to 2020 pandemic, our 1st graders hadn’t the on hands kindergarten experience we all loved. Our students will be learning comfortably with alternative seating options; for calming moments or reading to self, sharing their understanding of the books read or to take a few moments to self. Learning to love themselves with puzzles reaffirming their greatness. Learning new hands on activities in our room that we have seen other kids enjoy will be joyful. We will be learning to utilize calming and gentle conversations when emotions get heightened through our books lessons. Building our great community with the students is a privilege. They deserve the best.
