I have 19 Third grade students in my classroom full time, five days a week, for the first time since they were half way through their first grade year. These students are so eager to learn and excited to be back together that they deserve every opportunity to enjoy their time at school. One major challenge I am facing is their ability to sit still long enough to concentrate on the instruction of new material. If they had the flexible seating options I would like to offer them, I feel their concentration level would improve tremendously, thus enhancing their overall academic experience. I have 19 students and currently 2 flexible seating options for them. If I am granted the items in my ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ project, I will be able to offer 3 types of seating for 22 students during instructional time and 10 options to students during independent study.
