The best part about my job is seeing the light go off in a student's eyes when they really, REALLY grasp something you are trying to teach them. It's exciting to know that you may have just changed the way someone thinks about something literally forever. Covid-19 found a way to hinder that by distancing us from one another and ripping away personal connections that are necessary for kids to grow and develop. Being able to use updated technology in today's modern classroom is a must. My project will update the laptop that I use for technology demands both in my classroom and at my house when I do home-bound education. Having updated technology will allow me to maintain connections that will be lost without it.
