This year, due to COVID, our first graders do not have playground equipment to run around and play with. To these kids, it does not matter, but to me, it does. We have recently heard from our administration about receiving funding for playground equipment for next year, but in the meantime, I am working to create a sensory path for the concrete area that we have. This sensory path is usable to any grade who wants to. It will be situated between our PreK/K halls and First-grade halls. I think it would help our students get their energy out and make recess just a little more fun!
