These materials will help our classroom return to an adjusted classroom environment. Students are transitioning from spending their entire educational day at home, to being back in the classroom with COVID social distancing and mask rules.
Students need specified workspaces (that are designated by the circles on the carpet) as well as ways to show their learning from a distance on whiteboards. Students are burning through supplies quickly and, due to COVID, need personal supplies like colored pencils.
Students are also learning to transition, as a group, from one activity to another and adhere to a specific schedule. Audible cues can be a great help for this, so tools like the classroom doorbell are useful. It also helps if the classroom is relaxing and engaging. A little mood lighting goes a long way!
