Students receiving school based mental health counseling would greatly benefit from the materials listed in this project. The books and workbooks will assist me in providing students with interventions they can utilize in the classroom and at home. The games and art supplies will be utilized with students to help them learn to become more responsible for behaviors and develop more successful strategies, develop new and creative solutions to problems, develop respect and acceptance of self and others, learn to experience and express emotion, cultivate empathy and respect for thoughts and feelings of others, and learn new social skills and relational skills with family.
Your donation will help our students have a better understanding of their emotions, gain insight about resolving inner conflicts, learn self-control, self respect, to express their feelings, problem solve, communicate and to modify problem behaviors.
