Our classroom for alternative recess needs supplies that will help students with projects, games, or support emotional learning. Calm down bottles to support emotional needs, fidgets, are good examples of social-emotional support projects or needs. Toys and games that are available for students during their time, as well as art supplies that allow students to draw, color, or create. Many of these are often items that are limited in the school setting and often are paid for out of pocket. The student will learn to self-manage and regulate emotions.
