Learning toys/manipulatives will allow my students to take charge of their own learning and be more independent. The materials selected are perfect to help develop problem solving skills, teach about conflict resolution, and show how cause and effect work. Educational toys teach skills like sharing, help develop fine motor skills and nurture their creativity and imagination.
Playing with the letters of the alphabet, will set the stage for reading and writing. It will give my students a way to interact with the alphabet through hands on play. Students will be able to rearrange the letters, learn and identify letter sounds.
