These items will help in de-escalating their behaviors at the same time honoring their achievements in the classroom. Our classroom has a reflection area where students can go to calm down and resume classroom activities. Students require plenty of acknowledgment for them to be motivated and reduce unwanted behavior. Students like consistency in the classroom which also helps with monitoring their behavior. This is a special day class and they require plenty of stimulation.
