We use guided reading books daily to help students begin their journeys as readers. Students will have unfiltered access these books during independent and partner reading times to help practice their emerging reading strategies and sight word knowledge. These texts are also helpful in developing fluency and comprehension strategies. With additional leveled texts to choose and explore from, students will have an opportunity to strength these essential literacy skills as well as their confidence as readers. My students will thrive with greater access to leveled texts in the classroom. Help me put more books in the hands of my students and together we can empower them to continue falling in love with learning.
