This project is important to me because our school is very old and you can tell when you first walk in, the items will help for a more inviting atmosphere for parents, teachers and students to go then back to class to support their education.
The language translators will help translation in my students' home languages to support them during our conversations and phone calls. Receiving these Language Translator devices will help me to communicate and best support students and families who do not speak English or have limited academic English language skills.
The five pack charger and USB wall charger station will help when parents or students are in need of charging their phone to communicate with their parents. The bedside table lamps will help update our office and give some calming lighting which helps with moods. The Jambo 16-Inch Motion Lamp will be relaxing when parents and families walk into the office to help immediately calm them. The Unique Loom Round Rug, is to help hide the stained carpet under our table. Students that are here to help will enjoy the Monopoly and Uno games when we don't have any tasks for them. The scent diffuser is to help with the smell senses that go into the brain and can help calm their nerves and promote a healthier scent rather than the chemicals from plug ins. The artificial plants are just another way to add some natural vibes to the room.
