A Color-changing light table will help engage my students. It will help with the focus and social skills they have missed out on during Covid -19. Students have only been engaged the past year and a half online and through technology.
They need hands-on, engaging centers like a light table to help with their social emotional and language skills. They will use the light table to practice self-directed learning, engaging in a task for at least 15 minutes, maintaining their focus, taking turns, sharing resources, speaking clearly, and engaging in conversations with others about concepts and skills they are excited to practice.
