We work in collaborative groups daily. Our curriculum takes students through linear graphs and solving algebraic equations. We also transition into quadratic graphing as well.
Students will investigate the properties and behaviors of graphs and equations within their teams by creating graphs we can keep, post in the classroom and use to compare, contrast, and give a more complete understanding of the relationships between equations and their graphs. This is where the large Anchor Chart Paper would be used.
The smaller Post It graph pads of paper would be used by students at home when they need to add a small graph to their work. It would easily fit onto their binder paper.
