My students need more tools to help them have hands-on learning opportunities in centers, small group guided lessons and partner activities. My small literacy groups are going to be enriched with the hands on items. Having materials that the students can really get their hands-on is fun and rewarding when they are learning. These tools will be new and exciting, but they will work in perfectly with my already existing routines and procedures. My students are learning how to sound out words and make words. I know we will use these materials weekly.
