These materials will all improve our learning environment. The plastic bins will keep the students' bedding materials separate and keep them from cross-contaminating, the light covers with diffuse the harsh fluorescent classroom lights and create a more pleasant and natural ambiance, the balance bikes will help build students' gross motor skills while increasing activity levels. All of the other smaller items will be used in our sensory bin where students use their hands and a variety of small tools to manipulate small objects to help them improve their fine motor skills and foster creativity.
