Since the school library hours are very limited, my class library is an essential resource for my students. Many of my students do not have access to books at home and rely on our class library to check out books. Because of this, the shelves tend to be almost empty by the end of each day.
I love the excitement and joy that books bring into our classroom, especially when students find a book that they can relate to. I want to continue to broaden their worldview and grow their love of reading with more books that reflect the diversity within our class.
