In my classroom, some students participate virtually in academic tasks and the use of the webcam and headphones with microphones will have them feel like they are included as a member of our classroom. We are fortunate to be in-person currently, but if we should need to revert to virtual learning in the future, having headphones will benefit the students in participating virtually in Google Classroom activities. Through the use of headphones, students will be able to eliminate distractions and focus more on the task at hand. My students have sensory processing disorders that can make classroom engagement difficult due to varying noises throughout the classroom and school environments.
