Art is a great way for my students to learn. By incorporating art into other subjects, it allows my students to access different parts of their mental pathways and use different mediums. For example they can use markers to rainbow write spelling words. They can retell stories by making pictures using chenille sticks.
Art is also a way for all of my students to express their creativity and enhance their mental well being. It will help them find their own unique style while also allowing them to explore different aspects of their emotional well being.
