Students will learn and practice skills in reading and math using hands on materials and engaging activities. The use of manipulatives and collaborative games is developmentally appropriate and increases student retention of concepts and excitement about learning.
Students will learn not just reading and math skills, but also cooperation and communication.
They will work on explaining their thinking to one another, collaboration, and social skills like taking turns, fair and honest work, and kindness.
We hope to grow these students' love of learning and access to the world by teaching them in engaging ways they encourage them to explore their world and work with others.
