My classroom is filled with 12 of the greatest teenagers you’ll ever meet. We are a self-contained special needs class at a middle school. The majority of my class is Autistic and Intellectually Disabled students. When I "inherited" the class in the middle of 2022, it was an empty room with broken manipulatives and discarded books another school was throwing away. These kids deserve so much more than this! Students with special needs face enough obstacles in their lives, school should not be one of those obstacles. Please help me to provide a classroom where students will feel safe and comfortable so they can love learning. Thank you!

About my class
