My students from a rural community lost valuable classroom time during COVID. They were learning from home but didn't have access to the cameras we use at school to creatively demonstrate understanding of the concepts they've learned.
Currently, students have to share cameras and we need additional cameras to increase access and demonstration of learning during video productions. We are specifically focusing on the college and career readiness standards from the state of Nevada (CCR.SL.4, CCR.SL.5, and CCR.SL.6). Video announcements are written, filmed, uploaded, and distributed. During breakfast break and homeroom we play them for the entire school. Students love it!
