These atlases will be used to enhance my subject material by having students look at historical events in different ways. They will help my students develop map skills as well as reinforce reading skills, and the ability to pull important information from a text. I hope to give the students a better understanding of historical events, as well as the different regions of our country. I hope to use these maps to show them how our nation has grown and changed over the past 300 years. These atlases will give my students a visual aid to help them understand the historical events that we cover in class.
