The calculators will allow students to use technology at school and home. My students are amazing at using desmos. The goal is to build calculator skills so that when they take the ACT and end of level testing the result represents their best effort. If students are quarantined they will have access to them. I believe that this calculator and desmos can support students in all mathematic level classes. This calculator can be used in concurrent enrollment math classes. It has great functions for basic skills, trigonometry, algebra, calculus, tables, and statistics. This technology helps students engage with mathematics and feel like they can have success without learning a complicated calculator. Thank you for your consideration and effort to help students and our education.
