My Project
Within my program, we focus on students' transition post-high school. The transition process will look different for every child. As the world continually shifts to focus on technology, I would like to give my students more practice with it.
The students will use the device to master apps that can help with accessibility.
Such as speech to text, social skills training, and literacy assistance. These apps will lead to more independence. We will also use the device to help the students as they work in our student store. Here they will use the digital interface to clock in and out, keep up with the hours they have worked, learn how to manage inventory and they will use it as a digital cash register.
