Providing my students with a diverse collection of books in the classroom library will support all students in finding books that they can read and connect with on some level. It will help in the development of a broad perspective on the world. If they read a variety of books and other reading material, their vocabulary will improve as well. Their vocabulary expands with each new word they discover in a diverse collection of reading materials they consume. My students love going to the classroom library to choose a book of their choice. The library is a vital source of knowledge for the students and will help cultivate the important habit of reading among them. Reading is fundamental, a diverse collection of books will help my students develop a love for reading by choosing books that they will enjoy!
