The impact COVID-19 has had on my students is unmeasurable. Students struggle daily to cope with the trauma and to find a safe outlet to express their feelings. I want to be able to provide them a place to take a deep breath - work through their emotions - and reset.
By creating an inviting and calming environment, students will have a place to reflect before they react.
Sensory objects and calming activities will help students relax. Comfortable chairs and a rug will create a more welcoming environment to ease the stresses that my students have burdened since COVID-19.
