I am a first year teacher that started in the classroom two months ago. I teach a K/1 combo class and have been trying to find different ways to reach all my students. As a first year teacher, I am starting from the ground up and still trying to figure out how to teach not one, but two grades. Being a combo class, I have a variety of needs. Having these learning centers to help make learning letter sounds and math fun and engaging will help provide my students with the hands-on activities that they enjoy. I will be able to use the different centers to help with differentiation and be able to meet all my students’ needs.
