My kindergarten students enjoy learning and reading. The scholars’ favorite part of reading is being read to. I have created a reading nook that has several different reading materials which includes a listening center. Many times during the week the scholars enjoy a story while sitting on the floor in the nook. The purchase of a carpet in this area will compliment the reading area and allow scholars to feel comfortable while enjoying the story. This new addition will allow students to focus on the story while being read to.
