Our students will have the opportunity to learn and engage in conversations around self-love and self-care. While students are learning to care for the live succulents, we will be discussing how self-love and self-care are essential for growth. Over time, students will be able to take their plants home as a representation and a reminder of growth.
The goal is to teach our students that we must care and tend to ourselves in order to grow and flourish. Despite the immense challenges our students face every day, we want to teach them that with some TLC (Tender Loving Care) they have the ability to withstand challenging times. Outside factors can have the ability to impact us, however with a caring hand we have the opportunity to grow big and strong.
