Students will be creating clay mugs and bowls with sgraffito designs and 3D elements that bring their sketches to life. After creating the clay form they will use these tools to glaze on their drawings to transfer to the clay mug. They can use the tools to smooth the clay and add hanging attachments. They will be able to create details such as faces, plants, animals, and many textures. Clay is such a versatile medium that brings about a sense of calm and well being. It is an absolute favorite with all students!
