I teach a new kindergarten class in a Dual Language Program. The program is currently undergoing an expansion phase which will double our programming within the next five years. As a result, my students were recently placed in a brand new classroom within the building. However, this classroom was handed to me without any essential materials or supplies. My students only have their chairs, desks and some supplies to write with.
With your help, my goal is to make my classroom into a warm and inviting space for students. I would like to provide them with manipulatives so students can have hands-on experiences during our Math and ELA lessons. I am also requesting ball seats to be used during small groups with students in order to provide them with more flexible seating. This flexible seating will help students be more engaged and work on mastering skills covered. In addition to this, the flexible seating can be used for morning meetings and students who struggle sitting on the floor.
I hope that someone out there can help me make a difference in their lives. Thank you!
