I would like to add to my world history and civics curricula particularly but I will also be building two new units for my English classes this year. My students will benefit greatly from new materials as I build a more interactive, innovative, and student-centered curriculum. I want my students to learn to be critical thinkers and lifelong learners. Being able to expand and diversify the types of materials and activities that I present to my students will greatly increase their participation and retention of learning. I hope to build a curriculum that truly engages my students.
