I am the school nurse at an elementary school and we have lots of students who come from low-income homes. To provide better care and keep students in class, we need to replenish the first aid supplies in the clinic to be ready for a strong start next semester, including things we use quickly like medicine cups, triple antibiotic cream, first-aid tape, ziptop bags and tissues.
We had these basic clinic items at the start of the school year, but are out of many essential first aid supplies for our children. These supplies will help me and the students who use our clinic. We want to be ready to care for any minor incident so the kids will feel better and ease any stress they may be experiencing. They can quickly get back to class to resume learning.
