Many of our students have never set foot in a school building prior to this year and are often over stimulated with all the sights and sounds in the school building. I am creating a sensory break room where students can go to desensitize, calm down and relax to bring them back to their fullest learning potential.
We are in need of many much needed items such as mats, a soft rug, classroom books, pencils, tactile manipulatives and a quiet space.
These items specifically target many of our individual learning needs and will help us get to our fullest potential!
