The materials I am requesting are books to send home with my students to build their home libraries! Many of my students have no books at home, so being able to send home books is so important. The books I have chosen have my students in mind. Their interests, reading levels, and needs have all been used to determine which books they would enjoy. Studies show that to promote literacy, students should have a home library of at least 80 books! My kiddos love to read, so being able to read at home would be amazing for them!
